DV Lottery statics.

There are concerns about people who are from the states which are sponsoring terrorism are getting LPR status via Dv Lottery to live in the USA. About 10,000 people from such countries have already made in to USA according to a report from the US Government Accountability Office.

The State Department Bureau of Consular Affairs did not have any rule to bar people from these countries although they agree people form those counties are using this DV lottery program to escape the Iron grips to freedom.

People came in to America through DV program is
2,700 people from Cuba 3,100 people from Iranian
3,700 people from Sudan
160 people from Syria.

According to US Government above states are sponsoring terrorism.
This Diversity Program every year allows people to enter their names with photo in to the computer selected draw. 50.000 Winners will be selected by the computer's random draw. The winners must have eligibility by higher education or skilled worker's work experience. Before they are issued with the PR visa they will face interview at the local US Consulates as for a normal visa applicant to satisfy the immigration official and will meet police clearance too.

Also there is suspicion about many third world countries’ officials’ involvement in to make forge papers to support these winners.

Most people came through the Diversity Visa Program are from these countries (These countries are not in the list of states that sponsor terrorism list.)

36,000 people from Ethiopia 35, 000 from Nigeria
32,000 from Ukraine
31,000 from Albania.
