The confirmation in the computer will have the primary applicant's name, confirmation number and country of eligibility and the time and date it was entered in to the lottery. This information should be saved or written down for further usage in the future. The confirmation number can be used to check your DV lottery selection status online in the coming year. The confirmation number will not be reissued again if you lost it or misplaced it.
Mean while if you don't know to use computer to send DV lottery application and happened to use advocate, lawyer, law firm, law offices as well as local agents they may ask you to sign in their own DV lottery paper entries.
