DV Lottery for Nepal People.
DV 2012 American visa lottery program allows natives of the Nepal to apply for the diversity visa lottery program if they meet the education or work experience, regardless of where they are living today. They must use the online E-DV entry form to participate in the DV lottery.
To participate their age must be more than 18 years.
Nepal natives must have the following educational qualification to participate in the DV lottery.
Nepal natives should have completed the educational qualification of Intermediate or certificate level, SLC and intermediate or plus two. (That is 10 years of school education + successfully finished 2 years of college education). 10 + 2 is 12 years of formal academic education.
Vocational degrees, including the CTEVT, will count only if they are accepted in Nepal as a basis for further academic study to all programs in all institutes of higher education. Private exams taken instead of school attendance do not count.
Vocational degrees that allow limited admission to selected programs do not count as twelve years of formal education for the purposes of the DV program.
Vocational degree will count if it is accepted in Nepal for further academic study.
If you don't have 12 years of education then must have work experience in an occupation listed in the Department of Labor and must be equivalent to U.S. university degree.
Very few people only qualify through their job experience.
IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY OF THE ABOVE QUALIFICATIONS, DON'T APPLY FOR THIS AMERICAN DV LOTTERY PROGRAM.
If you are married person then you must include your Spouse (Wife/Husband) and all the unmarried and under the age of 21 years children in your application form. If you failed to do so you will be disqualified from the DV Lottery Program.
Postal, paper entries will not be accepted. If you don't know to scan photos or no have facility to take digital photo you can ask the help of other people. If you apply for it or any one else apply for you, all the entries will have the equal chance of winning.
Nepal winners will be notified by postal mail only.
You will pay the visa fee personally ONLY to the embassy in Nepal, when you are called for the DV interview.
Don't believe people who say they have contacts and can make you a winner.
There is no cost for the DV program until the day of the interview.
DV 2011 results are out for the Nepal born people. Thos who want to check their DV 2011 results must have their confirmation number starting 20111 to check in the official web site.
