U.S.A DV Lottery for Mauritius People.
Mauritius born people are eligible to participate in the American diversity visa lottery program if they meet the education or work experience regardless of where they are living today and which nationality they are holding..
Here is the announcement from the US Embassy in the Mauritius for the Mauritius people who want to apply for the DV Lottery program online. Registration for the Diversity Visa Lottery Program will last for a period of 60 days. If you are eligible, you can submit your entry through the American Government’s official web site. If your application is successfully submitted you will be given with a confirmation number which you can use to check your status of selection online later.
Persons seeking to enter the lottery program must register online through the designated Web site during the registration period. Registration is free of charge. The State Department will notify winning entrants by regular postal mail only. The DV lottery winners will not be given away with the immigrant visas. But will be allowed to apply for the U.S.A immigrant visa by paying the non refundable visa fees and at the day of the interview they must proof that they are eligible to be issued with the requested visas. If for any given reason the visas are refused the visa fees will not be returned back.

Any one with a with the knowledge of internet can download and complete the Electronic Diversity Visa Entry Form online in the given time. The Department of State notifies
successful Diversity Visa applicants by letter.
Winners of the DV Lottery from Mauritius will have their applications processed at the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya and will eventually have to travel there with every member
of their immediate family for the medical examinations and interviews with the Consular Officer.
