Announcement for Mauritius People
Here is the announcement by US Embassy of the Mauritius for the Mauritius people who are applying for the DV Lottery program online. Registration for the Diversity Visa Lottery Program will last for a period of 60 days. If you are eligible, you can submit your entries through the American Government’s official web site. If your application is successfully submitted you will be given with a confirmation number which you can use check your status of selection later.
Persons seeking to enter the lottery program must register online through the designated Web site during the registration period. Registration is free of charge. The State Department will notify winning entrants by regular postal mail only.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
There is no charge to download and complete the Electronic Diversity Visa Entry Form. The Department of State notifies successful Diversity Visa applicants by letter.
Winners of the DV Lottery from Mauritius will have their applications processed at the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya and will eventually have to travel there with every member of their immediate family for the medical examinations and interviews with the Consular Officer.
Electronic Diversity Visa Lottery
The 2011 Diversity Visa Program (DV-2011) is now open. The entry submission period for DV-2011 is from 12:00 PM EDT (GMT-4)
on October 2, 2009 to 12.00PM EST (GMT-5) on November 30, 2009. The entry form will only be available for submission during this period and this period only. Entries will not be accepted through the U.S. Postal Service.
