DV 2011 Green Card Lottery results were already sent to those randomly selected winners till the end of July 2010. Nearly 100,600 people were selected as winners in the DV lottery through the computer draw for the DV 2011 visa lottery program. Only the KCC have the authority to announce the results officially to the DV lottery winners. The winners were sent with their winning notifications NL by regular postal mail from KCC to their given addresses as in their DV lottery application form. Which they had submitted as the E-DV entry form last year 2009.They will get further instructions about how to proceed with the winning and the related visa fee information.
Computers in the KCC will randomly select nearly 100,000 winners to select out 50,000 eligible people to issue immigrant visas to the USA under the DV 2011 greencard lottery program. This is because all the selected winners may not have the required eligibility to issue with the American visas. No E-mail, Fax or phone will be used to send the winning notifications to the winners as per the dv lottery instructions. If you get any notification other than the postal mails must double check it as there are many scammers are trying to cheat people in the name of the greencard lottery program.
If you have changed your address after applying for the DV 2011 lottery, you are not allowed to change the address in your original entry. So you must check for the winning notification only in the address which you had given in the entry form at the time of application period.
Those who had applied for the DV 2011 green card lottery program can check their status online in the American Government's official web site from 1st of July 2010 till 30th June 2011. DV 2011 winners name will not be available in the internet, U.S consular offices or in the U.S Embassies.

Those who don't get the notification in this period must consider themselves as not winners and they can try the forth coming visas lottery program.
Also the winners who don't have the required qualification are seriously advised not to proceed with the U.S visas lottery processing furtherer more.
Those selected winners will face an interview from October. They will have to pay a "NON REFUNDABLE VISA FEE OF US$ 755.00" for each and every child, spouse and for the winner, if the winner is married. Single person will have to pay US $ 755 and if for any reason the visa is refused, the visa fee can't be refunded. Those who don't know to fill the DS forms can use Visa office or Lawyer office assistance at their own money and risk.
