The DV 2009 Results.
DV 2009 was already announced officially, this was started in May 2008 and will end in July 2008. Winners did got their winning notification NL by regular postal mail from KCC to their given addresses which they submitted in the EDV entry form last year 2007. They were furnished with further instructions and visa fee information which are related for the dv visa application.Computers in the KCC had randomly selected nearly 99,600 winners to select out 50,000 eligible people to issue immigrant visas to the USA. More than 9.1 million applicants have submitted their entries to the DV 2009 in the 60 days period through the DV Lottery application form which is also called as E-DV entry form. Those who had applied to the DV Lottery 2009 in the year 2007 must take note that the selected winners will only be notified by KCC and no E-mail, Fax or phone will be used to send notifications. If you get any notification other than the postal mails must be double checked as all of them are fake.
If you have changed your address after applying to the lottery, you can't change the address in the entry. So you must check for the winning notification only in the address which has given in the entry form.
The winners name list will not be published for public access.
The Embassies or the Consulates can't provide the winners list.
Some country postal departments like Nepal and Albania publish the winners name list in their web site and news papers, which they find on the received winning notification mails.
Those who don't get the notification in this period must consider themselves as not winners and they can try the forth coming visas lottery DV 2011.
Also the winners who don't have the required qualification are seriously advised not to proceed with the visas lottery processing furtherer more.
Those selected winners will face an interview in the coming months. They will have to pay a "NON REFUNDABLE VISA FEE OF US$ 755.00" for each and every child, spouse and the winner, if the winner is married. Single person will pay US $ 755 and if for any reason the visa is refused, the visa fee can't be refunded.
Those who don't know to fill the DS forms can use Visa office or Lawyer office assistance at their own money and risk.
