DV 2012 Application form will be provided by the U.S State Department this year as online E-DV entry form for a period of 60 days only for to apply.
The DV 2012 Green Card lottery is designed by the American Government to issue 50,000 visas to live and work in the USA for the people from the countries which are sending less people to the U.S.A. By this the American Government tries to maintain the diversity of its people. The greencard lottery is operated by the KCC under the supervision of U.S State Department each year. The online entries will be served for the purpose of random name selection through the computer draw at the KCC Center.
Those who want to apply for the DV 2012 must meet some eligible requirements requested by the US State Department.
1. They should have successfully completed the Higher School certificate after attending 12 years of education in the junior and High schools or must have 2 years of work experience in an occupation within the last 5 years after learning/training the for 2 years. These jobs must qualify as per the DV2012 Lottery instructions.
2.The applicant must be born in an eligible country regardless of where ever he is now living. Each year the U.S State Department make a unique calculation to announce the allowed country list.
3. A person can submit only one entry along with photo file as primary applicant using the application form for this year dv lottery. If more than one entry is submitted for a person as primary applicant all the applications will be rejected with out noticing the applicant.
4. Married person must include his/her spouse and eligible children with their details and individual photo files. Failure to do so will result in rejection at any time.
5. The applicant and the dependant's DV Lottery photos must meet the instructions.
After the application submission period computers in the KCC will select and inform nearly 100,000 selected people with furtherer instructions through the postal mail in the
months of May - July 2011. Those who are not selected for the green card lottery will not get any notification. The DV Lottery results will not be sent through the email or fax or phone.
DV2012 greencard lottery program will hot give away the visas to the selected winners but will allow them for to apply for the American immigrant visa under the normal
procedures. Also the Selected people must attend a visa interview by paying the non refundable visa fees to prove their eligibility.
Those who are living in the USA legally can apply for this visa lottery if they qualify for the Green Card program. If they are selected for the program they must contact the USCIS
office to submit their request to change their status to the LPR and to apply for a Green card when their case numbers are current.
